CLOSING OF THE BONES

A nurturing tradition around the world to honor the mother, Closing of the Bones is a ceremonial bodywork session to facilitate deep connection and acknowledgment of all your body has undergone. Together, we can customize details of your session to help you feel closure of your pregnancy and birth.

INFANT MASSAGE INSTRUCTION

Our first communication is through the skin, and babies need ongoing positive touch to survive. Massage from a loving caregiver promotes trust and attachment, helps parents learn baby's cues, and stimulates oxytocin (the "feel good hormone) and decreases cortisol (a stress hormone). Learn more about massage basics, infant-specific strokes, oils, and more. Inquire for class details.

My passion for supporting women through their postpartum period grew from her own experiences. By the time I was expecting my third baby, I had figured out that prioritizing my own wellness was a necessity for the whole family. She now supports growing families through education, one-on-one support, and postpartum nourishment.
I am trained as an INNATE Postpartum Care Provider, Holistic Birth Doula, Cert. Lactation Counselor, Ayurvedic Postpartum Doula, Birth Story Medicine facilitator, and Prenatal & Postpartum Nutrition Consultant.
